Buying a Real Property in Poland

As a foreigner, you may buy an apartment in Poland. To do so, you do not need to be granted a temporary stay permit though! However, you have to prove your ties with Poland (for instance: a relationship with a Pole, a stay permit, etc.). What is more, when buying a property, you do not need to be in Poland – the transaction can be carried out by your plenipotentiary. No worries, we will take care of this formality!

In certain cases (like buying a house or business premises) it is necessary to obtain a permit from the Ministry of the Inferior and Administration. However, if you a) have lived in Poland for 5 years since you were granted a temporary stay permit or b) you are in a relationship with a Pole and have lived here for the last 2 years, this permit is not required.
